Patriot's Pen VFW Essay Contest In Region 15 - Southbury, CT - 8th grade students from Memorial Middle School (MMS) in Middlebury and Rochambeau Middle School in Southbury participated in the essay.

The VFW and Auxiliary, Post 4061 are proud to announce the 2019 Voice of Democracy scholarship and the Patriot’s Pen essay contest. The VOD is open to students in grades 9-12 who are enrolled in.

As the first-place winner of District 9, Jones' essay will now go on to the state contest.
